The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a knoll towards the bottom of the steep E-facing slope of Crocknagaple Hill, with the headwaters of the N-S Owenbeg River c. 150m to the E. This is a grass- and spoil-covered D-shaped platform (dims 28m N-S; 11m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1.5m) with the straight side at W.
