The National Monuments Service's description
Within the medieval church (KK026-020001-) of Ballytobin which, according to Carrigan (1905, vol. 4, 44), was dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin. The church is located on an artificially raised area c. 50 SSE of Ballytobin house. A rectangular sandstone font with a circular bowl and central drain-hole.
