The National Monuments Service's description

Lying prostrate in the centre of the nave of St Mary’s church (KK026-010012-), Callan. The lower portion of a limestone slab (L 1.01m; Wth 0.68m; min. T 0.06m), of which the border on the sinister side is also missing. The dexter side is straight sided while the bottom is chamfered along the top edge. It is decorated with an incised cross-shaft which terminates on a stepped base. There is faint lettering visible along the dexter border but it is not legible.
