The National Monuments Service's description

Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 45-50m) with a quarry (dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 42m E-W) running up to the S bank of the enclosure. By the 1900 revision the enclosure is not indicated which suggests it had been levelled. On satellite imagery (Google Earth imagery date 14 July 2018) the enclosure is visible as a cropmark, defined by a fosse. The filled-in quarry is also visible as a dark stain in the soil immediately S of the enclosure.
