The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, some scrub in the interior and around the edge. A rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 40m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map with a external fosse running along the E side. A field boundary runs NE-SW up to the NW perimeter. Another field boundary runs NW-SE parallel to the E perimeter.
