The National Monuments Service's description
In rolling agricultural landscape on a gentle N-facing slope. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3456). A keyhole-shaped kiln aligned SW-NE comprised a drying bowl with a flue to the NE. The kiln may be contemporary with the bowl furnace (KK023-146----) to the W. (Devine and Zimny 2009; Devine 2010, 239-40, no. 901)
