The National Monuments Service's description

Within the graveyard (KK023-072002-) associated with the medieval church of Burnchurch (KK023-072001-), 8m E of the C of I church. A slightly tapering limestone graveslab (L 2.04m; Wth at top 0.64m; Wth at base 0.56m). It is surrounded by a plain border (Wth 0.06m) with no discernible inscription. The border along the top appears to be damaged. It is decorated in false relief with a seven-armed segmented cross-head with fleur-de-lis terminals. There is a three-barred knop beneath the cross-head. The cross-shaft rests on a simple cross-base with a slight concave curve on either side. There is some slight damage to the slab on the lower sinister side along, and slightly beyond, the border.

Within the graveyard there are other medieval graveslabs (KK023-072004- to KK023-072010-), two side panels from chest tombs (KK023-072008-; KK023-072011-) and the mensa of a chest tomb (KK023-072005-).
