The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle NE-facing slope of glacial till that leads down to the Monefelim River. Excavated in 2008 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3852). An arc of post- and stake-holes c. 15m SE of another possible Neolithic structure (KK021-043----). Further remains of this structure may remain outside the excavated area.
