The National Monuments Service's description
In the grounds of Lyrath House hotel, c. 170m SW of the hotel. The church is indicated on the Down Survey (1655-6) barony map of Gowran (Hibernia Regnum, courtesy of Trinity College Dublin). It is depicted on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and 1900 revision as the site of Lyrath church, implying that it had been levelled by the early 19th century.
