The National Monuments Service's description

A straight-sided enclosure identified as a cropmark of a fosse on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BDI007, 14 July 1970). Only the S portion of the enclosure (dims. c. 40m) is visible, the S side aligned NW-SE and the S length of the E and W sides. The N portion has been truncated by the Kilkenny to Waterford railway line.
