The National Monuments Service's description
At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. A 13th/14th-century inscribed graveslab (dims. 0.55m x 0.52m) made from fossiliferous limestone (Bradley 1980, 10, no. 25). The upper half of a graveslab reused as a quoinstone in the NE corner of the vestry St. Mary’s Church. The slab bears an incised simple-floriated cross rising from an orb above the cross-shaft. The cross-head spandrels are occupied by incised circles. The right and left of the cross-head bears the original chamfer and the top and base is truncated. An incised inscription in Roman capital occupies the right below the cross-head. It reads: R R I B.
