The National Monuments Service's description

Fragments of medieval tile wasters were found in the NW of the graveyard (KK019-026171-) of St Canice's Cathedral and are likely indicators that there was a tile kiln at this location (Anon. 1866, 411-2; Graves 1875, 474-5).
