The National Monuments Service's description
A series of truncated masonry wall foundations were identified on the S side of Pennyfeather Lane during archaeological monitoring of the excavation of service trenches in Pennyfeather Lane and Sconce Lane by Patrick Neary (07E0533). The walls are probably associated with houses constructed on the lane in the early 18th century (Neary 2007, 262).
