The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated on the 1st (1839-40) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1945-6 revision. The enclosure had been levelled by 1970 when it was visible as a cropmark of a fosse on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BDI037, 14 July 1970). Doyle (1981) describes the circular outline as being easy to trace, 'with its entrance facing south. It was thirty five yards [32m] in diameter'. Satellite imagery (Google Earth, imagery date 10 August 2022) shows a larger enclosure (KK019-148----) immediately to E, either conjoined or the larger enclosure pre-dates the smaller enclosure.
