The National Monuments Service's description
Earthworks, possibly indicative of settlement, were identified on an aerial photograph (GSI S478, 1973-77) and may be associated with the unlocated castle (KK018-085----) in the townland which is indicated on the Down Survey (1955-6). Satellite imagery (Google Earth and DigitalGlobe, viewed 6 July 2020) indicates that the field has been reclaimed and the earthworks are not evident. However, a fosse, perhaps delimiting the SW angle of the possible settlement, is visible.
