The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of a hill in pasture. A roughly oval enclosure (int. diam. c. 48m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE; overall diam. c. 70m NE-SW; c. 63m NW-SE) with an external fosse and outer bank. The 25-inch OS map indicates an entrance through the outer bank in the SE quadrant. A field boundary runs NW-SE along the NE quadrant, incorporating the outer bank.
