The National Monuments Service's description
In rolling terrain. Indicated on the 1902 OS 6-inch map as an oval wooded area. The field is reclaimed and there is no visible trace at ground level. A second oval wooded area is indicated in the same townland (KK015-087----). Either of these may be the rath noted by O’Kelly (1969, 82) as having been destroyed in 1961.
