The National Monuments Service's description
In rolling reclaimed grassland. Fair views in all directions. The monument is indicated as a large oval (dims. c. 69m NW-SE; c. 37m NE-SW), orientated NW-SE, on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map. It is not depicted on the 1900 revision which suggests it was levelled between 1839 and 1900. It is not visible at ground level. On the OS Ortho image (viewed 2 March 2016) the outline of the monument is visible, it has been bisected by a farm trackway.
