The National Monuments Service's description
On a narrow ridge of land with a stream flowing E-W to the N, in roughly wet marshy pasture. There is a good view along the stream vale and up to the hillsides. The OS Letters (1839) mention, 'one little burial place of still-born infants, called Reilig na nGarlach, or the Burial Place of the Infants, which lies in the Townland of Coolcullen (O'Flanagan ed. 1930, vol. 1, 14 (5)). On the 25-inch OS map it is indicated as a roughly D-shaped area (dims. c. 22.5m N-S; c. 30m E-W) extending westward from a field boundary running NE-SW. It is indicated by a dashed line, which suggests it was unenclosed. There are no surface features visible.
