The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight SW-facing slope on a terrace, just below the crest of hills at the edge of the Castlecomer plateau overlooking the Dinin river to the S, in rolling grassland. There are good views to the S and along the valley. Located immediately S of the E end of the SE side of a possible moated site (KK011-001001-). Identified as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 15m) on an aerial photograph (GSI 1973-77). The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
