The National Monuments Service's description
On the gently rising E side of the Nore river valley, in rolling grassland. There are good views in all directions. A low, rectangular earthen mound (max. dims. 12m NE-SW; 4m NW-SE; H 1.3m at SW end, H 0.3m at the NE end). The mound is at its highest at the SW end and slopes continuously towards the NE. The S edge of the mound has been damaged (as evident on Digitalglobe satelite imagery, viewed 17 January 2019) by small scale quarrying or cattle erosion.
