The National Monuments Service's description

Formerly located at Coolcraheen medieval church (KK010-060001-). According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 196), the 'square cut-stone base, and circular shaft, of Coolcraheen baptismal font, are now in Conahy chapel yard, having been moved thither from the old church by Canon Hogan, P.P.'. It is recorded at its present location as KK010-083----. Portions of the font may still be in the graveyard (KK010-060002-), e.g. the basin.
