The National Monuments Service's description
On the flat valley floor, under tillage. There are good views across the valley in all directions. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map a a semi-circular enclosure (overall dims. c. 48m NE-SW; c. 28m NNW-SSE; int. diam. c. 33m NE-SW), originally probably circular but the southern portion has been truncated by a roadway, running NE-SW. The enclosure is not depicted on the subsequent 1947 revision of the OS 6-inch map and it is likely to have been levelled between 1839 and 1947. It is not visible at ground level, however, it is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (ASIAP (109) 23-7, 22 July 2000).
