The National Monuments Service's description
On land rising just above the flood plain of the Nore river valley, in rolling grassland. There are good views across the valley. The monument is heavily overgrown with dense scrub. A roughly circular raised area (int. diam. on 25-inch OS map c. 60m N-S; c. 62m E-W) enclosed by a wide, high earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) and wide external fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.8m). A field system (KK010-149----) immediately to the SE may be associated and there is a small enclosure (KK010-150----) c. 40m to the SW.
