The National Monuments Service's description
Crossing the River Nore, c. 40m E of a castle (KK009-002001-); house (KK009-002002-) and bawn (KK009-002003-). A walled passage connected the bridge and the main gateway in the E wall of the bawn. The bridge (L 14m; Wth 2m) has two flattened pointed arches and the central pier has been buttressed on both sides. The river bank has a stone revetment for several metres on either side of the bridge. The masonry is similar to that in the bawn, suggesting they may be contemporary.
