The National Monuments Service's description
On the N-facing slope of a hill, in grassland. There is a ringfort (KK008-081----) immediately to the SW. A rectangular graveyard (dim. c. 44m N-S; c. 35m E-W) with a church (KK008-082001-) at the N end. The graveyard is enclosed by a relatively modern stone wall. There are no visible headstones earlier than the 1860s. According to the OS Letters (O'Flanagan (ed.) 1930, vol. 1, 50-1 (155-6)) in 1839, there was, 'a small burying ground near it [the church], having a few modern graves'. The ground level is not elevated around the church and the headstones are fairly well distributed throughout the graveyard. Moore (1874-9, vol. 1, 37) mentions that, 'Some few are still buried there. There is a fragment of a medieval tomb'. There is no visible trace of this medieval graveslab (KK008-082003-).
