On the N-facing slope of a hill, in grassland. There is a ringfort (KK008-081----) immediately to the SW. Located at the N end of a roughly square graveyard (KK008-082002-). An undivided rectangular (int. L 11.6m; int. W 5.7m) church, aligned E-W, and built of roughly coursed limestone rubble (wall T 0.68-0.73m). It was entered through a flat-headed lintelled doorway (H 1.94m; Wth 1.18m) towards the W end of the N wall, with a drawbar-hole (D 1.8m; H above ground 0.54m) in the E embrasure. Internally, at the W end of the church are two joist-holes in the N and S walls respectively, possibly for a gallery. The N and W walls, and the western part of the S wall, survive to a height of between 2-3.5m, but the E wall and part of the S wall only survive as foundations. The OS Letters (1839) note a window in the W gable, 'about four feet six inches [c. 1.36m] high and two feet six inches [0.76m] wide on the inside; square at top, about two feet six inches [0.76m] high and seven inches [0.18m] wide on the outside and square at top also' (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 1, 155-6 (50-1)). The church is probably early post-medieval in date. There is no visible trace of the medieval graveslab (KK008-082003-) noted by Moore (1874-79, 37).
