The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the E edge of a level flat area, dropping away to E, in rolling grassland. There are generally good views in all directions. A circular area (int. diam. 45m) enclosed by inner earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m; int. H c. 1.5m; ext. H 1.9m), fosse (Wth c. 3.5m; D 0.8m) and outer earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; ext. H 0.9m). The outer bank is poorly preserved from S-W, is levelled in the N quadrant and has been truncated by a road running N-S along the E sector. There is a possible original entrance (Wth c. 3.5m) in the S quadrant.
