The National Monuments Service's description
On the S bank of a small stream in the flood plain of a small valley, in boggy terrain. Horseshoe-shaped mound (max. dims. 8.5m N-S; 12.3m E-W; H 1.4m) of burnt stone, with a depression (dims. 4.5m N-S; 2.6m E-W) in the N sector, possibly the location of the trough. Other fulachta fia (KK008-147----; KK008-183----; KK008-184----; KK008-185----and KK008-186----) have been identified along the stream 200-300m to the E and ESE.
