The National Monuments Service's description
On a gradual W-facing slope, on the lower slope of a ridge running N-S, in pasture. There are very good to extensive views in all directions, except to the E which is impeded by the rise in slope. Identified on an aerial photograph (GB89.T.22) which shows the cropmark of a curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse with an in-turned entrance facing SW and with two conjoined curvilinear annexes. There is no visible trace of the enclosure at ground level.
