The poorly preserved remains of a circular hut site (diam. c. 2m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.55m; H 0.4m) which survives best SE-N. There is a break in the wall N-SE. The lower course stones in the wall protrude above the bog. The hut site is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at N and built up (H 0.2m) externally at S. There is another hut site (KE109-073003-) in the SE quadrant of the enclosure.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
