The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, on a ridge on a N-facing slope, overlooking Kenmare Bay. Ó Nualláin (1984, 30) recorded a rectangular mound (13m N-S; 4.5m E-W) c. 36m E of the stone circle (KE109-003001-). The mound, which is composed of peaty material, has a rectangular area (7.8m N-S; 2m E-W) on top of it, also consisting of peaty material, enclosed by a stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.55m). This feature is consistent with a 'turf láthair' or base for a turf rick. There is a field wall (KE109-003003-) to the N.
