The National Monuments Service's description
Not marked on the OS maps, there is no surface trace of the 'blocked souterrain and habitation site' noted by O'Connell at this location (KAS). Situated in a S sloping field of pasture, close to the N shore of Kenmare Bay, O'Connell reported the finding of 'remains' in the souterrain; it is not clear to what he was referring. It is possible that this and the following site are the same souterrain.
