The National Monuments Service's description

In heather-clad, rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope overlooking a river valley. The remains of a drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.4m) which protrude above the surface of the bog, extend downslope to the W for c. 150m. From this point another wall branches off to the S for c. 55m, then turns W and ends at a very large boulder. Linear sections of these relict walls form the W walls of two individual hut sites (KE103-040003-, KE103-040004-). Another hut site (KE103-040002-) is situated along the curvilinear stretch of wall, at c. 90m from its E end. Two other hut sites (KE103-0040005-, KE103-040007-) are c. 15m to the SW and c. 50m to the E, respectively. An enclosure (KE103-040006-) is c. 30m to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
