The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. This enclosure is not visible at ground level. It is indicated on the 1895 OS 6-inch map as an enclosed rectangular area (c. 5m E-W; c. 3m N-S).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
