The National Monuments Service's description

A souterrain is locally reputed to exist in a small rounded hillock at this location. The field in which it is located is known as Páirc na hÓna (Ó Cíobháin 1984b, 9), and has recently undergone clearance and improvement. No visible trace of the monument survives. It is not marked on the OS maps.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 851. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
