The National Monuments Service's description
An opening to this souterrain is located at the NE side of a NW-SE field boundary in an area of level pasture a short distance NNE of Glan Lough, Immediately inside the opening is a sheer drop of at least 2m into what appears to be an oval-shaped lintelled chamber with sides of earth. At its W end is a small creepway. It was not possible to investigate the souterrain further. It is not marked on the OS maps.
