The National Monuments Service's description
On a natural rise, overlooking Isknagahiny Lough to NE. The overgrown foundations of a roughly rectangular drystone structure. Overall dimensions: 4.3m x 3.6m. A short stretch of walling, 2.3m long, extends from the N wall of the hut.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1284. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
