The National Monuments Service's description
No surface trace survives of the circular enclosure marked on the first edition of the OS map at this location, c. 80m SW of Templecashel oratory (KE096-003001-). The sloping field in which it was located, now devoted to pasture, overlooks St. Finan's Bay to S.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 784. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
