The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a N-facing slope. This rath is the most easterly of two conjoined raths (see KE094-009----). A circular area (diam. 28m) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 6.4m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 1.55m) SW-ENE, by a recent bank ENE-S and by a scarp S-SW. An intervening fosse (Wth 2.2m) is evident SE-N. Intermittent traces of an outer bank (Wth 0.9-6m; H 0.15-1.45m) are evident NW-N and SSE- SW. A gap (Wth 1.45m) in the bank at ESE appears to be recent. The interior is in pasture and slopes down to the E. The enclosing elements are largely obscured by dense overgrowth, especially along the S arc. The intervening fosse at W is shared with the other rath (KE094-009----).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
