The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, c. 600m N of the Roughty River. Not visible at ground level. The last of the shafts was infilled in living memory. Named 'Lead Mine' on 1846 OS 6-inch map with a rectangular structure (L c. 20m) and nearby shafts indicated.
