The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on the E side of field boundary immediately to the E of a minor road. Mid/late 19th-century limekiln. Front elevation faces S; sandstone random rubble façade (H 2.2m; Wth 2.8m). Central lintelled recess (H 1.7m; Wth 1.1m; D 1.8m). Funnel has been infilled by landowner. Kiln was in use in living memory.
