The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a knoll overlooking Kenmare Bay to the SW. Indicated on the 1895 OS 6-inch map as a square enclosure (c. 10m x c. 10m). The enclosure is not visible at ground level and the area appears to be occupied by a house and gardens.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
