The National Monuments Service's description
A rectangular sheepfold has been constructed in its SW quadrant. The poorly preserved remains of a second structure (KE091-104001-) are located alongside this at E, but it is not clear whether or not this is contemporary with the earlier enclosure.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 740. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
