The National Monuments Service's description
Located in a forestry plantation, this standing stone is situated on a NE-SW ridge. It is roughly triangular in elevation and is 1.39m high and 1.1m wide at base, narrowing towards the top; E-W. The stone now leans heavily to N.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 220. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
