The National Monuments Service's description
A report from 1937 describes a 'fort and entrance' at this location (OPW). All that now survives are the remains of a semicircular, stony bank located on the N side of an E-W field boundary. It is faced internally and externally by large stone blocks and averages 1.4m in width. It survives only one to two courses in height, and outlines an area 6.1m in internal diameter. It is not marked on the OS maps.
