The National Monuments Service's description
Road bridge (Wth 6.3m; long axis NE-SW) spanning Galway's River. Built of random rubble. Two segmental arches with punch dressed voussoirs of irregular size and shape; SW arch is lower and has narrower span than NE arch. Upstream parapet rebuilt in concrete. Concrete coping on downstream parapet.
