The National Monuments Service's description
In rough boggy pasture, on the SW-facing slope of Knockanaguish Hill. Three field walls (T 0.8m; H 0.6m), which protrude above the surface of the bog, radiate from the external N, S and SE arcs of an enclosure (KE084-008001-). The N-S field wall that abuts the N arc of the enclosure, extends upslope to the N for a distance of 30m. The N-S wall that abuts the S arc, runs S of the enclosure for a distance of 12m. The NW-SE wall (L 35m) extends to the SE from immediately outside the entrance to the enclosure at SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
