The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill grazing, on the E side of a stream and within a field system (KE083-023002-). An irregular sod-covered mound (8m N-S; 6m E-W; H 1.1m) of burnt material with some stones resting on its surface. The stream appears to have eroded part of the mound.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
