The National Monuments Service's description
Within a field system (KE083-023002-) in rough hill grazing on the S-facing slopes of Knockleama with a view across the valley of the Blackwater River to Kenmare Bay. A D-shaped area (6.5m N-S), with a straight N side (L 10.5m), defined by the remains of a collapsed stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). The interior, in pasture, slopes down to the S. A field wall abuts the site at NW. An enclosure (KE083-023018-) is c. 16m to the NE.
